The Ootsider
Each jacket from The Ootsider has a clear purpose — profits go towards creating more garments for people experiencing homelessness.
Every piece is part of a wider project that brings visibility and support to those who need it most, using design as a way to make a real difference.

I chose to work with them because I wanted my photography to connect with something beyond the image itself.
For me, this wasn’t just about documenting the jackets, but about reflecting the intention behind them — a project where design and social impact come together in a meaningful way.
In this latest series, the focus shifts towards the relationship between the garments and the city.
Photographed across Edinburgh, the jackets are placed within its architectural landscape, allowing materials, tones and surroundings to sit naturally together.
The colour palettes are shaped by the city itself — stone, texture and shifting light — creating a quiet dialogue between the garments and their environment.
It’s a simple exploration of how these pieces exist within the urban setting they’re made for.
